Description:
Rehabilitation project of the existing viaduct near the Casablanca Harbor in Morocco.
The rehabilitation consists of the following procedures:
- Replacement of the bearings and the expansion joints;
- Widening of the deck at one end;
- Insertion of a new metallic walkway;
- Painting and general repaving.
It is noteworthy the structural strengthening of the main viaduct so as to give the deck enough stiffness to eliminate/mitigate the excessive vertical vibrations of the existing deck.

Description:
Set of 24 prefabricated viaducts with a total length of 2770m, included in the contract for the construction of the C270's fraction of Macau's new Surface LRT.
These externally prestressed (with straight track) viaducts separated by expansion joints, have spans about 30m/35m and a total maximum length of 140m.
Stage Construction type is segmental kind, a system widely used in Asian countries. This procedure uses two gantries in order to have more work fronts. Whenever a curve with a tighter radius takes place, falseworks will be used.

DESCRIPTION:
Bridge over river Muni with about 700 m long which will allow connecting towns of Cogo and Akalayong in Equatorial Guinea. The future bridge deck will have an each way road as well as footway on both sides, adding up a total width of 9.90 m
The structural solution considered consists on the use of continuous frame with ordinary spans of 20 m and precast deck. Beams will be pre stressed on a proper building site for precast to be built specifically for this construction.
The main span for vessel crossing will have 40 m, considering, both by aesthetic and technical reasons, a mix solution steel-concrete for the deck, with ties turned to metallic masts. The infrastructure will be constituted by a solution of pile/column with about 35 m maximum long, due to deficient foundation conditions detected.

Description:
Road Tunnel inserted in an urban area which allows crossing the complete CRIL road through a tunnel structure, situated in Venda Nova area, in Amadora, Portugal.
The tunnel includes 3 roadways in both sides, with a total width of 34.10m. Longitudinally it presents an extension of 235m.
It must be pointed out its complexity associated to the stage construction. Being the tunnel's lateral wall very close to a neighborhood, one was forced to use "top down" inverted construction method. This proximity to the existing structures was controlled through the risk analysis of the nearby buildings by the "Burland" method, as well as with the use of a proper instrumentation and observation plan intensified during construction and which is still currently in use (with the structure functioning).

Description:
Centenary Railway bridge which has been replaced by a new construction at the same place, with double span of the existing one. The structure/Design considered has been the kea for the enterprise success. Railway interruptions have been minimum during night periods, and road inconveniences have been reduced on an important road of Setubal City.
The structural solution has included a closed frame in Prestressed reinforced concrete. The bridge construction has been made in two main phases. The 1st Phase (half bridge execution) has been made through the "hydraulic Sliding" system. The 2nd phase (the other half bridge execution and connection between both structures) has been made by moulding in site under the railway in functioning.
